I have a very annoying problem that just happened yesterday and it already seems to be getting worse. Last night when I started the car the ignition key hole messed up on me some how. When I start it stays in the starting mode so I have to pull the key back a little bit so the starter doesn’t mess up. And when I go to take the key out I have to force it to turn to the off position to get the key out. Now even though I get the key out, the car seems to stay in the accessory position because everything in the car can still be turned on. So has anyone had any problems with this keyhole?

I want to take the whole thing out, but it looks like the steering wheel has to come off to get the keyhole out...?

 

Is the steering wheel locked when you remove the key?
