Hi, i have a 99.5 a4 2.8 and my air conditioner won't blow out any air. the a/c was replaced just this year by the guy i bought it off of so i know it's not the compressor. I also know it's not the compressor because when the a/c works it blows out cold air.

I opened the glove compartment and took a look at the blower and took the power cable off to look at it. It seems that something had caused it to corrode or spark up or blow up. so i need a new blower power cable i think. if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you somehow got moisture at the electrical connections...maybe check your condensor...don't know much about a/c systems, just a suggestion

 

take some light sand paper to get ride of the corrosion and see if it makes better contact check your fuses if you havent all ready. do you have a multimeter or access to one check the continuity of the wires.
