hmm. but what if u plan on getting aftermarket springs & shocks...
dealership wouldnt do the alignment would they?
The dealer would do it as long as it doesnt sit too low that they wouldnt be able to get it on the rack...

just went from stock suspension to oem sport suspension.. negative camber and toe in....
I sorta like the neg. camber, but toe will wear at my tires, so... alignment it is....
Regarding getting an alignment at a shop...
suspension specialty shops are the best bet IMO... of course, one with experience in audis is a must...
I paid $80 last time... with the printouts of before and after for toe and camber for all four corners...
Most places will adjust camber or toe to your specifications... I plan on leaving a tiny bit of neg. camber..

I paid 80$ at Michelin for a **** aligment, and 90$ at Autosport Werks (an Audi performance shop, if that wasn't obvious) for a good one.

Camber is slant of the tires vertically, toe is horizontal. In as simple of terms as I can put it.

If you're in doubt, get one. It costs so little relative to new tires.

Why did you go from stock to oem sport?? What was the cost of that?? Im going with sport H&R/Bilsteins when i can.. might hold off on the alignment till then now that i think about it.

went with OEM sport cuz:
1. mine wasn't sport
2. Live in NJ, School at NJIT, friends at NYC means...
Potholes that engulf your tires
Strips of bumpy as hell roads (that stretch miles, LOL)
Speed bumps and humps EVERYWHERE
3. Bentframe gave me good deal

yea, couldn't go with anything lower nor stiffer because of where I drive...
I guarantee you, all you guys with fast as hell rides slammed to the ground....
Come down to newark... I'll take you on the roughest roads in the city, and we'll see who smiles....
Even if you're still faster than me on the rough... I guarantee you won't be smiling

OH, and Bentframe passed them on for $200
Installation was free, thanks to my arms and legs[8D]

Firestone has given me so many reasons to never go back there again. A guy there was actually yelling at me once when i was younger for needing new tires because i burned the ones i had up in about 6 months. Another time they tried to rip me off for work they clearly didnt do..
