Default am I in need of a new O2 sensor?

i VAG'd my car and got these codes (No CEL):

16524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: No Activity
P0140 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17521 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor: B1 S1: Internal Resistance too High
P1113 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

so i cleared the codes and drove around a little and checked for codes again and just got the first code, 16524

with just the key in the ignition, i measured block 032 and got 0.4% at idle and 0.0% partial throttle.

do i need a new O2 sensor? [X(]

Default RE: in need of a new O2 sensor?

Well, if you DO need one you can get a universal one if you're strapped for cash. All you have to do is splice into the old O2's harness.

Blindly, I'd say check the connection first, but I tihnk you may need a new one.
