Another Amsoil Question

Default Another Amsoil Question

On the bottle of amsoil european car formula it says...volkswagen 502.00.505.00,505.01 ..so does this mean I'm ok to put it in the 3.0?? I thought amsoil was'nt on the approved audi/Vw list...I'm confused!!

You can put it in any engine, the 3.0L are notorious for being noisey upon start up because of the cam shaft adjusters on all four cams, so putting in a lighter oil will make it even louder but betterfuel economy and long life of oil is the up side.

hmm ok..so I won't need to worry about the warrenty? I just don't wanna have any problems with voiding the warrenty...thankx

No it won't void your warranty, if anything the oil will look cleaner than ever which can only help you.

cool thankx!!..it's funny cuz it was like 15,000 miles it's good for...I would stll change it every 5,000 km or 3,000 miles...just to be on the safe side..lol
