Amsoil Synthetic ATF?
Well I am wanting to change out my trans filter and replace the trans fluid with this Amsoil one. I have a few questions though, I'm hoping that someone here can answer for me!
First, Is this fluid okay to use in my 2000 A6 2.8?
And second, I am not going to do a complete flush, just what ever drains out of the pan when I drop it. Would it be okay to mix this with the original fluid in the trans?
And last, how much quarts will I need to buy to have enough?
Thanks for any help guys!

You need a VAG-COM to complete the job as you need to check operating temperature while filling up with ATF.

- 5 Liters of OEM Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) Mfg By Pentosin of Germany (Adequate quantity of fluid for filter change).
Fluid meets Audi Vw TL52162 specifications and is equivalent to Audi part number VW G 052 162 A2.
I am afraid that you are stuck with OEM or Pentosin ATF, neither of which is cheap, as there seems to be nothing else compatible for les money. On the positive side you probably won't replace your ATF for another few years.
