hi can anyone please help i have a ticking noise coming from the left side of the engine if you where standing in front of the car i think it might be coming from the evap purge valve????
there is a crack on the air intake box at the front could this be anything to do with the noise thought i would ask the experienced ones out there please reply

There is a small check valve up in this area. It is know to "tick" or on the rare occasion "click"

 

only recently started doing it though any ideas
