"tap" as in makes a a tapping noise dude.
I'd have thought the thicker oil would have been better on a warm start up as it wouldn't have run out of the head as quickly?

now i run 0w-40, but i feel better response
What brand? synthetic... I use 15w-50 summer and Im about to change to 10w-40 fer winter
