APR could defintitly sell the hell outta their mani's but several companies make nice tubi manis at a price that is about what APRs is.. if u subtract the price of APR s mani out of the kit, its almost what a GTRS kit is.. certainly little more... but not much for the reliablity and not having to piece all that little stuff together yourself..

if u dont mind piecing odds and ends together yourself and enjoy the tinkering and customization of a GT series turbo kit.... its the better way to go..

if u want plug and play, APR



everyone on the zine with apr 3+, no one complains ofa slow spooling turbo... like any BT, it doesnt make full power till 3k or so but thats the perk of the BT, it pulls till redline...

like cincy said, its not a insta spool k03 lol! i mean mine spools instantly but by 4.5-5k, its done... a gt28rs will be full swing by 3k and will hold about 20-21 till redline.....


i have heard everyone with a BT whether its a GTRS/GT2871R/GT28RS or the GT3071r say that they have to relearn how to drive the car because of the spooling characteristics... any BT will make power later so u gotta learn to keep your RPMs up and the turbo in its power zone just as with the k03, u gotta shift and get the RPMs back down to get it in ITS power band
