Default ATF Question about Fill Plug:

I'm about to do a AT fluid and filter change on my 99' A4Q Tip. I purchased the Blaughparts ATF kit and was following there step by step instructions and wanted to verify the fill plug location which is different in their appliction. On my car the fill plug looks to be directly below the drain plug (17hex), but when I started to remove it I had fluid pouring out. How is this the fill plug being that it is on the bottom of the panalong the drain plug? How can I pump fluid into when its just going to pour out?Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

the fill plug is the one to the back of the car there will be some fluid that will come out at first when you get the plug out there will be a green or white plastic piece with hole in the top side you will need to get a suction pump they are $15 at auto zone and you have to pump it in from the bottom they say it takes 5Qt but it really takes 51/2 to 6 Qt you have to pump it until it starts to run out .

Thank you so much! This makes me feelso much better now. The kit I bought comes with the hand pump but unfortunately only 5 qts of pentosin fluid not 6 which kind of pisses me off now asI was also told that I would need six. I hope this fixes my recent tranny slipping and inconsistent shifting patterns and behavior.
