Hi,

I brought brand new Audi A4 Quatro in 2010. Currently I have 23350 miles on the odometer. I do drive less since my office is right next street from my home.

The problems that I want to check with you guys is, I have changed all the tires(1300$) at 21.9K miles. The tires were so bad that one of tires edge lining got ripped off while I was driving

After replacing the tires hardly two months before, I have got this brake pad replacement indicator now. when I contacted the Audi service center they say it will cost around 600 dollars for one set of the front brake pad including rotor. Is this normal Audi A4 behavior. I had couple of japanese cars before but they never used get worn out so often. Some of the tires used last at least 40K miles. I know that my audi A4 is considered to be a luxury car compared S4 which is also a performance car. If I need to replace tires, brakes and what and all that comes every 20K miles. I need to a rob bank



Guys please clarify me if this is normal behavior
