Default Audi Questions!

Ok, well my first question is:

1. how many seconds does it take a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T Turbo go from 0-60.

2. will a chip improve performance alot? And how much is one that is good, but not overly expensive?

3. Finally, is it better to get a body kit online or at a store near by. How much would the cheapest Audi body kit be?

Thanks in advance

1 - Very SLOW - a little over 8 seconds if it is manual

2 - Yes a chip will help performance. a 'good' chip is $500 . Go to www.goapr.com & www.giacusa.com

3 - A full body kit is not cheap.

Question 1 & 2 can be found all over this forum using the search utility.

I think you are looking at $1500 for a good body kit if not more? I don't have one but that seems like a pretty reasonable estimate.

There is a thread at the top of the A4 forums that says Audi Links or something like that. There are a bunch of vendors and kits you can check out and they list their prices.

Occassionally you can find a nice kit on eBay with reasonable shipping. Just make sure you do your homework, because some sellers sell CHEAP stuff. Speaking of which, who makes Urethane body kits for the A4?

And don't always go cheapest, I mean you will be spending between $1k and $3k most likely, plus you have to look at it every day, so find something you like and then look around for it.
