I just looked under the car and realized the all the exaust pipes are ******* rusting out. Arent these supposed to be stainless steel???

Im cars a 2003 its off warranty but doesnt audi have like a 10 year rust warranty or something?

Am I screwed?

 

12 yrs but on the frame only I think

 

The rust warranty is 12 years unlimited miles.

 

Its only on body componets that were sprayed with an anti rust zinc alloy covering, the exhaust, suspension componets ect. don't count.

Then your saying the floor pan is covered by rust out warranty? Mines got a hole in it that I was going to fix. But if they will that would be fine too. But I bet for one reason or another it won't be covered like many other supposedly covered warranty items. Like if it was ever driven in rain you can forget it, LOL!

 

Is that going to also cover under the metal door latches? I just noticed some rust starting to get into there
from under the silver door latch and i'm wondering if its something I should take care of myself or go to the stealer and do a warranty claim.
