Default Auto Insurance company suggestion

Hello, I'm currently a 19 years old college student with GPA below 3.0, I need to find a auto insurance company as soon as possible, I have two cars, Audi and Toyota, and I'm going to sign up the policy with my dad to get a cheaper rate.

I think I'm going with single coverage instead of full coverage, it's not like that I don't like full converage, I would love to have full coverage for my Audi, but the price is just way way too expensive compare to the single coverage for me, so what's the best insurance company with the lowest price and decent/quality service?

If you guys know any insurance company that offer good price for full coverage too, please let me know, I would love to have it for my car.

I lived in southern California.

Why don't you just go on your dads current policy?

That's pretty hard to answer.

Example:

My friend and I have the same driving record, same age, same cars. With Progressive my insurance is like 200 bucks cheaper than his quote. I got a quote at his insurance and it was like 300 more.

All you can do is give them a call or go to their websites and figure it out for yourself.

How is this rate?

900-1000 dollars for single coverage for both cars.

2000-2500 dollars for full coverage of Audi, and single coverage on Toyota?

Which one would you guys take? I think I'm going to take single coverage.

Remember you're just getting liability only. What happens if your car gets keyed? Or a hit-and-run? (Which goes under uninsured motorist). You'd be screwed. You're going the cheaper route, but you may regret it in the long run. Why have two cars? You could have full coverage on one, and it'd be reasonable if you have a clean record.

I'm 24..full coverage..no tickets..2 accidents (1..wasnt in the car, 2..was but was parked..neither were my fault..both in my old car). I don't have the student discount right now, but with State Farm and their "steer clear safe driver" discount I pay $120/month. With the student discount it's roughly $100. When I'm 25 it'll be roughly $75-80.

My best bud SilverB5_S4 had state farm and was getting raped; went to Amica and got a better rate, but he's 19. We're both in WA.

Find out what it'd be w/ one car only and it may help break down what's most cost efficient.

Safeco has pretty reasonable rates for multi car policies.

I'm 20, and have AAA. with a clean driving record, no accidents, and liablity only, I pay ~$600 a year. Progressive quoted me more for the same plan, and i used to be insured by them for my motorcycle.

it really varies place to place. just shop around.

Got a quote from Geigo, up to 3000 a year for full coverage on the audi, and single on the toyota. hahaha.....No.....

AAA, about 2000 for a year, same as above.

AAA, 1000 for single coverage on both cars.

Other company from broker, about 800 for single coverage on both car, not bad......

BTW, I got good grades, As and Bs, but I forgot to drop one class by the end of the deadline which I basically don't go to, and I got an F for that........................lalalal.........and now, my GPA is 2.97, yeah, .03 away from 3.0....lalalalal......
Well, by the end of the current semester, I will definitly have 3.0 or better, so I might as well sign up for the 6 months contract, and changed when I got it up to 3.0.

So, if you were me, you would go with 800 for basic, and I woulda do the same.
