I have a 2.5 litre V6 Diesel Auto. The gear select display lights flash and when they do the box works fine. Sometimes the display light does not flash when the engine is turned on and then the box slips into "Sport" when selecting "Drive" and even worse it will not engage "Reverse"
Any ideas. The car is driveable as with a bit of turning the engine on and off I can get the flashing display and then all is well.
Any ideas out there????????????
