This is a stab in the dark - a lot of people here are painting the lowers on their cars, and I will be doing this as well. What I'm wondering is whether anyone has painted the front lower vent panels in the front bumper as well. Kind of like the S4 has body-color venting in its front bumper, I'm curious whether anyone has painted their black vents body color (I'm especially interested in silver cars, as that's what I have). Anyone do this? If so, could you post up pics to show how it looks? I think it'd look good, but I wanted to see if anyone else had done it, just in case it's "too much". Anyone?

Cool, I'll take a look. I may just mess around with it and do it anyway. It's easy enough to get the grilles out and hit 'em with Duplicolor radiant silver. If it looks like ***, I can paint 'em black again, no harm done. Maybe I'll try it out and see. If I do, I'll put up pics for you guys. Thanks again for the opinions and the link.

 

some dude on here has a silver one painted that exact same way.. ill try and find the post for you cuz its exactly what ur looking for..

 

i've seen it before on a silver car. it's ugly. don't do it.
