Stock clutch is kinda pointless to launch with. My best time are when i go wot from idle and side step it at 5.5k to 6k.
What do you mean by side step it? I have never heard of that.

Thanks!

You don't care about your clutch going out? Wow, wish I was as layed back as you, I'd have no worries, haha.
No, I dont. It just means that I get to upgrade. I know it is expensive, prolly like 600 dollars, but not nearly as expensive if you break your tranny. And, when I do install a new clutch, I will get to fix a small tranny fluid leak.

I like to do the n/a "launch" at about 900 rpm...does not get me off the line too fast, but my clutch is very happy!

Proper launch of a turbo awd car:

1. rev car a few times to pull a good vaccuum in the system

2. Nurse to 3000 gently to keep vaccuum

3. Slip clutch, but at 20% release (once car starts to move a little) dump clutch and push gas through the floor... will take off like a bat outta hell

4. Other option is redline the car, and dump the clutch, but if the tires dont spin you are going to break a thing or 2
