Default RE: big clutch problem...NEED HELP

I would suspect the guys that installed the new clutch... did they replace the pressure plate? Did you do the flywheel as well while your tranny was dropped? My friend had a similar problem, where he got a brand new clutch, and it would sometimes slip, even with it fully engaged... Because he was specifically told that this would be replaced, he was compensated for the diagnosing fee from a different shop, and the pressure plate was replaced 'free of charge' (he already paid for it to be done in the first place). In my opinion, he should have gotten all his documents together and sued them for malpractice and for the time(money) he wasted....
If your pressure plate is bad, your clutch will slip. Even if it doesn't seem like it is while you're coasting, it still may be letting in little by little, which would explain the rapid wear.... I'm no expert, but that's what it COULD be.... Take it back to where you got it from, and they should take responsibility IMO... Good luck to you
