Hi there,

Please help me.
I have a audi a4 '00

I can't get the car into gear when running.
When I trun of the engine the clutch seems to works again and I can get the car into the wanted gear.

Only when the car is started (or being started) the clutch does not seem to do it's work.

I have looked arounf the internet but couldn't come up with anything except maybe the computer?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hi,

tnx for the fast replies.
I tried to start the car by putting it in 2nd gear and when i truned the key the car broke foward.
This for some reason made the clutch working again.

Maybe the plates where stuck? The clutch is oke (for now), but probably this will happen more often, any new toughts with this new information?

thanks again

Are u able to drive and it'll go slack after a bit of not shifting, and the clutch will sink to floor, and with clutch fully depressed gears grind?

Hi,

No it works as it should be at this moment. not going slack at all, If I didn't knew something was wrong you would not experience it right now.
It looks solved for the timebeing, but I can 't believe that.

with regards.
