Where can I buy the boost gauge that goes in my air vent with out paying an arm and a leg for it. I have a 04 1.8t

you'd have to make your own,

otherwise your paying an arm and a leg.

Get a glowshift boost gauge (they are like $40 or so and work great!) And then just cut out the vent yourself and install it. It takes a while but if you do it right I think it looks better than the pre-made ones since you still have a vent there plus the gauge, not just a black piece of plastic.

I bought a VDO from 42DraftDesigns.com and I love it. I custom mounted mine into the stock center vent and I think it looks pretty clean. Here's mine:



The back of it was silver and I wasn't a fan of that in a black interior so I repainted it to a black to match nicely.
