Interesting thread here. I'm one of the old guys here (even though I'm a n00b with my 1997 A4). I'm in my 10th house (I think we'll stay in this one for awhile though). Wife's car is a 99 Blazer. Some time ago we basically gave up on buying new cars, and decided to not make personal transportation such a high priority, although I still consider myself quite the automotive enthusiast (hence my presence in this forum). If things were different, I'd definately like to buy a new Audi, but that ain't gonna happen in my world (my occupation is seriously in the dumper).

WOW, IM 20 and in the government. Anyway, the awe gauge is way to much money, id try the apr one or try one of OverSpun02 gauge pannels and buy your own gauge. Yea that is his IM name for aol. As far as the only exhaust being miltek, i highly highly highly doubt it. Try a search, here are some links http://www.yahoo.com http://www.google.com. As far as FMIC, i wouldn't do one until you have already upgraded the turbo. Also, it is better to get exhaust before you upgrade turbo to help with lag and you will also get better hp. If you upgrade the turbo you will need software to get its full potential. Dude, i could go on just search ****, you learn more beside im tired of typing.

I like working for what i get, it makes me feel better. i started my own business at age 12 and i work 28 hours a week while going to the best engineering school in the country studying one of the hardest fields of science, all while maintaining a 3.2GPA .i have a fiancee and im paying for a duplex, an audi, a jeep, and her school. i hardly have any spare time to spend with my future wife. But i got here by myself, and im proud of it. I love my mom and dad for teaching me how to live on my own dollar, it makes me appriciate my money, my car, my girl, and my family.

I grew up with a severe case of ADHD. and right now i currenltly am taking the highest dosege in the world. the equivilancy of 1100mg of ritalin. the normal kid takes about 30mg. i was kicked out of school kicked out of my church and had about 2 friends stick by my side. I used to cry at night nowing know much my money my parents spent on my alone.

i guess it would be nice to live like you, and i dont have any problems whatsoever with you at all. I guess you might be able to relate too how fast the paycheck disappears when all the rent and bills are paid. I would feel bad if you put alot of money in your car and something that would be covered under warranty is denied b/c of your modifications.

i know all of this is uninteresting to 99% of you and im sorry. for those of you who think im lying i assure you this is 100% truth.

LOl this thread is spent but I thought Id share since everyone else did

When I was in High shcool (all 2 years)I have to say I was the wrong crowd.. I was jelous of all the rich kids and there preppy clothes and there stuff that they didnt work for, there parents and there childhood since I had none of those things. I was bitter to say the least
But somewhere in this daily struggle to overcome the past and thrive in the future I realized that its not there fault, their parents maybe. but all their parents are trying to do is give there child the best they can... I would do the same if and when I could.
The point is in the end none of their or my **** is gonna matter and maybe some of them take for granted what I work so hard for but this is life. If your neigbor thinks hes one up on you because he bought a new toy then I feel sorry for that man I no longer envy him.

Im not pointing fingers here just stating my obsevations
