BOV question... No, not what you think!

Negative,
A BOV vents to the atmosphere where if he got that adapter plate and the recirculate kit it would then continue to be closed loop. If he just ran the bov it would take the discharged air and vent to the atmosphere and would not be closed loop anymore. A DV is the same as a BPV, that will be closed loop and the discharged air will vent back through the system.
A BOV recirulated is the same as a DV.

I just don't see what the words Blow Off Valve, Diverter Valve, or Bypass Valve don't have in common. They all blow off excessive boost pressure. I can understand how you say on an Audi they are called DV's and recirculate, but on other stock cars such as DSM's the BOV recirculates stock also. If I were to put an aftermarket blow off valve on my Audi and recirculate it then you all would call it a DV not a BOV. Even though it was clearly stated as a BOV. We are saying the same things here, I just don't understand why you call it a different name and why when you hear the words BOV you think venting. Different worlds I guess.
