Default Brake light in cluster

Hey all- Yesterday I was driving and randomly a red light in the cluster started flashing and beeping. It read "Brake". I blew this off as a fluke until today the same thing happened again. I noticed that the problem would occur any time and every time i reached around 2500 RPM. Anyone know what could be going on? And NO my E-brake is not enabled. Thanks guys!

I think it might be one of two thing given that your parking break was not on. ONe you have low fluid. ( due to the fact that your breaks are worn), or TWO, your break wear sensor is finnaly letting you know that your breaks are worn. the fluid one is quite easy to check. look in the break resivoir. (don't refill it if it is low) If it is low then start looking at your pads. if they are almost shot, (reason for the fluid being low) then replace them, I know this seem kinda no duh, but well what else can I say.
