Brakes!
i have the ebc red stuff if my car was stock brakes are not something to skimp on for example mygirlfriend has a 2000 carmy 4 cylinder andi have installed hawk pads all way around with cross drilled rotors even thought it is a camry you never know when you need those brakes to stop you in a big hurry it is better to be spend a little more and get something that could save your life or your car
I have mintex red, and drilled rotors, the combo is very good, lots of stopping power. Have not tried the greenstuff yet. The red box were about $45 for me, well worth it. They are a good agressive DD pad.
Well, I only did the fronts so far. The rears still had about 50% left, so I figured no reason to swap them just yet (and after changing the fronts, I got rid of the warped rotor, so I was less inclined to do the rears).
The fronts bite good. I bedded them as hard as I could and it seems to have worked. The one thing I've noticed is that they do make a bit of noise. Not a lot, just a light squeal when on them very lightly (coasting to a stoplight or something). There is zero noise if you're really standing on them. They feel almost exactly like the stock brakes, which is good. Not too touchy/grabby, but they don't fade much either.
Haven't checked for brake dust yet, and only have about 200 miles on them.
