Default Brakes Question for all the techies out there

OK, so I got brand new rotors, OE and brand new brake pads OE, and got them installed professionally.
The light indicating worn pads is still on though. It kicks on after about a minute of driving and will reset each time the car is shut off. Did it three times now.

Is it Mechanic Error in that he never hooked up the sensors?
Part Failure a short in the line (PS got them from AutohausAZ.com who is a site sponsor)?
Maybe dumb luck and the system just shorted out?

Ever experienced it?

PS the guys who did the work (Big Brand Tire), filled my brake fluid up to the brim. Which got brake fluid on my engine and car when I pushed the brakes... that stuff is corrosive. I was furious. Plus they bent up the caliper springs installing the pads and bought me four brand new ones. This is why I never use mechanics... Everytime I do, bad experience.

No one has ever heard of the brake pad light coming on after the replacement

I am going to go with shop error because it did not come on until I drove around about half an hour. So maybe they screwed up and it worked loose.

I just can't figure it out though because I checked all the connections tonight after class and they were good. Now the pad light is on non-stop.

Brake grime in the sensor connection. Blame Big Brand Tires

AutohausAZ is ok by me

I cut my sensors because I replaced my pads with performance pads which didn't have sensors. Check and see if they hooked your sensors in properly. If you can't figure it out cut clip the wires and close the circuit. You'll hear when your pads are fried.

By the time you hear your pads grinding its too late. Then you need rotors to. Inspect your brake pads for wear regularly.
