Default broken glovebox

Hey Guys,

Last night something was jammed in my glovebox so when I opened it the little plastic cylinder piece that makes it go down nice & smooth popped out of place. It doesn't look broken and through my searches hadn't found anyone else with this problem...how does this little mechanism work, can i fix it myself or am i gonna ahve to buy a new assembly?

thanks,
-Trav.

is it in 2 pieces or 1? If it just split just stick the one piece back into the other and it will work

Depends which side popped out. On one side there is a little plastic pin holding the glovebox brake to the glovebox door hinge. The other side just fits in a slot in the side of the glovebox. You turn it 90 degrees and it cant come out. Are you sure the brake isnt locked up and the glovebox door hinge isnt busted.
