bubbling and gurgling
when im out driving my car, normally during breaking, i hear semi-lous bubbling and gurgggling noises from the back of my car, it sounds like the fuel tank or something. does anyone have any idea whats going on?
also, my car starts up fine everytime except the 1st time i start it up after filling up at the gas station. ive switched gas stations 3 times already, i dont know whats going on...can anyone help? please?

That is awfully strange... Maybe take a peak at your Fuel Filter, that may have something to do with it... That's a big "may", though.
As for the bubbling, I'd suggest having your Fuel Pump looked at, it might be something wrong with the Sock, or perhaps just the unit itself.
And Dan... How did the 240SX die?

I had the exact same problem and now it is fixed!
Check for leaks in the circuit that recirculated the fumes from the tank. On my car, the one way grey and white in line valve had rubbed against a piece of metal designed to hold the cover over the air filter box and put a hole in it. I also gave the valve a couple of judicious taps as sometimes charcoal dust gets pulled in there and blocks the electronic valve. At the same time, I noticed a hidden crack in the EGR 90 degree rubber connector at the passenger side front of the engine. This was hidden on the bottom of the connector.
Problem has been solved.

wow...thanks alot. the only thing is, im great at making terrines of foie gras garnished with truffles being as how im somewhat of a chef....but i dont understand a word of what you said.
im really sorry, if you could go into stupid man terms it would be greatly aprreciated
