Howdy people,

Ya I know its been talked about but I'm talkin about it again.
Been browsing around the Audi dealership today. saw this grey A4
sline 2.0T. Don't see much difference between this one and a normal
one aside from a black grille? I read a few posts here that the 2.0 tend to
have a vibration at idle. Is this really noticeable. I also read people complaining
about slow acceleration on on-ramps if you wanna get up to speed in a hurry.
Or should I just suffer it out and wait for the 2008 model and drive my crap box
for now. It is interesting that a G35 running around the same price as a A4 puts
out 300+ HP. Darn Audi had to make A4 such an attractive car I still rather park my butt in an Audi and give up the extra horses.

 

Infinities are nice but when I see someone driving one I assume they're settled down and "old" lets say... Most of the people driving the audi's are still fun energetic people... We're not the ones drinking the wine we're the ones downing the thirty packs still... What i'm saying is screw the infinity and stick with the audi because if you really want to put down 300+hp you can... 90% of the g35 owners don't really race those cars anyways...

 

my mom has a new 2007 G35 and I just bought a 2001 A4 quattro. Driving the two of them one before the other I will take my A4 any day. The g 35 was nice but not nearly as sporty. It would be faster on the top end but it did not handle nearly as wellas my audi. If you are looking for the most luxary i would go infinti, but if you want luxary and driving pleasure go with the A4 hands down.

 

Old has nothing to do with it. Roll a G35 up to a traffic light alongside a A4 and the kid in him/her will come out and suddenly develop lead foot.With gas prices here at $1.05CAD/litre today, I think I will stick to a 2.0T or 3.2. Forget the S4. Too stiff of a suspension. maybe I can find a 1yr lease somewhere till the 2008 comes out.

 

well the dealerships should be getting the 08's in soon. its the 5th month of the year and will need the 08.5's to come out. i would just drive what you got for a wee bit more and wait if you are looking to go new.

 

Ive had 7 cars and have never gone new, i love these cars hands down the nicest thing ive ever driven, idk what the 08 looks like but i would wait till they come out and then get my hands on a 07 with low miles just my .02

 

is there supposed to be a new body for the 08 a4?
