Whenever I have the temperature below 74-5, the two vents in the center of the console give appropriately cold air, but when the temperature is set to hotter, those two vents stop working and only the ones on the sides work. I have no clue as to why this happens. If anyone can tell me anything about this I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

btw i have a 2004 audi 14 1.8

 

damn man, my 95 c-class used to do the same thing. never figured it out....


my 98 a4 does this if i don't set the air to the vents i want. u set it to auto or to manual and the vent u want? not too familiar with the newer hvac

 

That is strange, when my temp is set to 74 my vents give hot air. Of course, it is only 30 degrees here.
