Jeremy, how are you going to adapt the silicone hose to the special snap-on ends on the stock hose?

 

By the way. I hope you didnt replace your wires with some kind of "high performance" or "race" wires. They are normally larger gauge wire, and unless you have an upraded ignition system, they will create more resistance and cause less voltage to reach the spark plug resulting in a weaker spark/less power. Just thought Id bring it up just in case.

 

Heheh, I'm not sure yet - I may have to get creative with it, but I think that it'll be doable. I'll be damned if, unless there's absolutely no other way, I'm gonna drop $75 or so for a piece of crap plastic tube that is so thin and fragile a loud belch will rupture it. I was looking at the close-up pics of the hose on ECS Tuning's website, and I see the special fittings. I'm gonna look into it though and see if I can fab-***** a reliable conversion. If not, I'll bite the bullet and buy the new hose, but it's so weak that I hate to put another one in there. I hate when OEM parts suck like that.

 

I'm sure you could always cut the ends off and fab them to the silicone.Have you seen the G7 commercial with the x-mas tree on the roof?
