about a month ago i checked out my timing belt and it had some visible cracks, so i decided to play it safe and not drive my car at all. its an audi a4 b5.
left the gas about near the empty at that time(big mistake). but i decided just to start up the car today and it wouldnt start up. it would sound
as if the car was trying to start like ging ging noise that would keep lasting till i let go of the ignition, i was told it was because there was probably no gas
in the car, im assuming because the gas light stays on when the ignition is just pulled half( the other lights next to it oil, and coolant temp just blink like they normally would).
but whats weird is when i shut the car off, the radio would stay on. got the radio off somehow. anyone know whats wrong or could help me if possible? im hoping its just
the simple gas thing.

 

try putting some fuel in it and put the good ol jump box on her and crank. could be an icm though

 

2.8? Try putting the gas pedal all the way to the floor and cranking it for a while.

 

put a jump box on it, you might not have a strong enough signal to the icm and its not working properly
