Default car isn't running after cleaning the TB

So I was having an issue with my EPC light and apparently my throttle body, so I took it off and cleaned it was throttle body cleaner. I put it all back together, made sure everything was hooked up, and let it sit at "on" for 3 minutes to reset. I turned it over and it sputtered to a start, then was idling back and forth between 800 and 1200 rpms. There wasn't much of a response when the gas pedal was pressed. I turned it off then on again and now it seems it wont even stay running. It starts for a second, then dies. Any ideas?

TBA (throttle body alignment). You need one done. Its best to do it with a vag cable, but you should atleast unplug the battery if you dont to reset the ecu and THEN let it sit in the on position.
