I have the giac chip and im pretty sure the limiter is disabled but with the k03 it pretty much runs out of steam, yes if you have long enough it will go faster but it cant be that safe, lol
Ive had my 1.8t to 145mph and it would have given more.
To be honest 120 comes up so easily, if its a quiet motorway or early morning then i have regulary gone up to 130 ish.
Just make sure you check oil level often if you do these speeds a few times a week as i used to do.

umm, just cut a wire going from speed sensor to the ECU, may couse CEL to come up. put Z rated or better tires on it, and all season will not doo, or winter will not do too. You will require spoiler, and good one. And recomend front updated.
It is dangerous to go higher that 130MPH on any tire on our cars. just promise if you do that, just tell me before, I'm gona watch News that day.

I used to regularly do 120-130 out in PA. A lot of the times the highways are clear... I don't think PA state troopers will even bother chasing you if they clock you at 130...
I just wanted to get where I was going faster. That was last summer with the Azenis though.
My 2.8 still has pull up top, it gets to 130 pretty easily and will bounce of the limiter if I let it. I have no intention of going much faster then 130...I'm never going to hit 130 on an auto-x track with the 12V anyway...even if I did go standalone SC which after I pay a bunch of bills, I may start piecing together....that or just trade it in for a newer 1.8t.
Honestly, there isn't much of need to do more then 130 on the highway.
