Hi, i went for coffee and on the way back the car felt like i installed a lumpy cam, turned off the car had a smoke, vag the car, then turned it on again and all was fine. i got codes. plz help thank you


18010-power supply terminal 30:voltage too low
P1602-35-10-intermittent

17977-cruise control switch (E45): implausible signal
P1569-35-10-intermittent

16684-Random/Multiple cylinder Misfire detected
P0300-35-10-intermittent

16685-Cylinder 1:misfire detected
P0301-35-10-intermittent.

Sounds like a Coil Pack or a Ignition Control Module... So if the misfire was on cylinder 1 try swapping that coil pack with another one and then vag it again. If the misfire moves to the other cylinder you know it is the Coil Pack. Also, check the plugs...

i checked out the maintence records that where in the service book, plugs never been changed, i changed the spark plugs still had the code, so i bought an ignition coil, did i buy the rite one? when i went to change it seemed like it was different in a whole lotta ways heres some pics of it. let me know so i can go back to the parts store to exchange it. thanks

first off what type of car year, make, model, and mileage. second those are coil packs for the AWM, AUG and AMB engine code which I belive is 2000 and up so if your pre 99.5 those are the wrong coilpacks, you need to use the "beru" ones. you may also want to check the ICM aka ignition control modual located in the top of the airbox with the two connecters going to it and if you change your plugs you should use NGK BKR6E's
