Anyone know of a how-to for changing the passenger axle shaft? Mine is torn, and all the grease found a way out of it, and now everytime i hit any sort of bump in the road its got this nice thuddddddddddddddddddddddd to it... ugh. but yeah, is this an easy diy?

 

it sounds already ugly, don’t wait to long…
if u got all the tools, and not afraid to get your hands dirty DO IT! some of the bolts might be hard to take off, so get some nice tools and W-40….

 

it's not hard to change your cv axle. Losen lugs and center bolt, Jack up remove wheel, losen and remove the bolts that hold the axle to the tranny, remove upper control arms, remove the center bolt, pull the steering knuckle about and work the axle out(you nay have to tap it out if it's stuck, and if that dosn't work you have to press out the axle)
