Quick question, after doing tie rods ball joints and the such do you really need to have Audi do the wheel alignment or can a standard shop do it?

 

no, often times Audi dealerships send their alignments out to be done somewhere else. Just ask around, the local Shell station did mine.

 

My local dealer (Brooklyn, NY) wanted over $400!!! for an alignment. I took it to a local shop and got a 4-wheel alignment for $80. A Pep Boys with a 4-wheel machine wouldn't even do it. What gives?
