sorry mmart, maybe i should reprase.....race a honda, if you win, you are chipped. i didnt know that 01's went above 7psi stock.

yea the 2001 have the 170Hp 166tq engine like the B6s
the boost levels for these engines are
stock boost spikes at 0.7 Bars
and holds around 0.5 bars

well i haven't raced a civic but i did race a carolla type-s and spanked it goin to like 4500 rpms on every shift
so what will my psi be afta the chip??? and yeah i got no neg psi...got the gauge from a friend soo other than what i see i don't know no more

u have to have negative vac, i dunno your friends guage muse be messed up of something, does it have the negative vac on the gauge

if you really want to find out...look at your ECU and see if there is a warrenty seal on it. Usually when you get it chipped they will put a sticker around the outside showing whats in it or by who.

no but he has a 2001 so that might mean his was reflashed where they do not have to remove the ECU or soder anything at all

ahhh i see.....very true. well i believe any re-programing and plug in and find out if it was....other wise maybe find the stock HP and go get a dyno and compare the differences.

dyno is just a nice thing to do to know where your car is, power wise. its just a good ref. point to hav eif you dont know what your starting with.
