Chipped my car with APR. It is a 20072.0T Quattro. So far so good. Much much faster. Liking it a whole lot. I have the ability to change back to stock mode and lock it so that the dealer can't detect it, hopefully.

I was told it would add about 35-40 horses along with 80-90 lbs of torque. Is this true? It sure feels like it.

 

congratulations on the new chip, i had apr for my 1.8t originally and loved it... however, if youre anything like me you will be bored of it very soon and want to make it much faster... but anyhow congrats

my buddy has a 2007 a3 2T, it was pretty fast from the get go. but when he got the giac engine chip...holy **** batman that thing kept up withmy 2003 gt(stock) and then blow my doors off lol. So yeah, it is a good mod.

 

the 2 blue lines are torque. the lower one is tq for a stock a4, the higher one is tq for an APR chipped a4. the 2 red lines are HP. same deal applies as the tq

 

I was thinking about getting the 07 A3. Man that car was quick at stock. I can't imagine how fast your friend's is.....

I am happy with mine for now. but who knows, i am sure i will want it faster sooner or later.....

you will definetly wanna get a stage colder plug........ i just went with the bkr6e plugs v the bkr7e(i think) plugs....... 6e= copper 7's are iridium and i can tell the difference just in that ....... and i have been tuned for about a yr now.... w/97,xxx miles
