Do you find that the Podi Guage pod restricts your view on any parts of the instrument cluster?
i actually didnt order the PODI for a long time for that reason, it restricts the view from 0-20mph but you have a clear view of the MFA display and tach...
i heard so many good things about, i finally broke down and got one on a group buy that had a matching OEM aluminum bezel

now that i have it, it doesnt bother me at all about blocking the 0-20mph.. hell who needs to know if u r doing 20mph?

its a beautiful gauge and everyone who gets in asks if its a factory part, even the shop that did my APR 1+ flash... fitament and color are a perfect factory match... it clips right in on the back like the OEM piece does and screws in the bottom just like OEM

Nothing like DIY, man...
VDO is not the best looking gauge - but the pod rocks.

I would have to say the Podi looks the best in my opinion. Very clean and Winston is a great guy to do business with

Well I wanted a cheap simple gauge so I mountedmy own VDO. Bought the gauge for like $40 and cut a hole into a vent. Fairly clean IMO.

i've seen a writeup on a set of 15 or so LEDs added into the tach. i'll see if i can find it again. he also made them if you didn't want to do the work. VERY clean looking.

EDIT: ok, check these out.

Full writeup on how to do it plus he will custom make them for you, all the diffrent pattrens are shown on the site:

yeah thats the ultimate boost gauge, there was a guy who did the exact same thing to the VW tdi's as well.... i think he charged around $700 to pull apart your cluster, drill LEDs, hookup gauges and what not.........
