Clutch

Default Clutch

I gotta quick question... the clutch sliped on my car and i was wonderin if anyone had any tips on a new clutch i should get or how much its goin to be. I went to the audi dealer ship in town and they quoted me $3,000 but I dont think thats right.

Bad picture of my car its an old one i smoked my tail lights and ill take a recent picture and post it again.

Your right bad picture... Smoked your tail lights huh? Howd you keep them lit?

Yah $3000 is crazy goto a reputable mechanic and get another quote you dont have to go to the dealler even if your under warrentee

the dealer here in texas told me about 2400 which I thought was crazy, so checked at some transmission shops here and they quoted me about 700 bucks with a warranty and I also asked about installing a stage 2 or 3 clutch and he told me not to do it because you would put all the stress on your transmission and you would rather for your clutch to go out than your transmission and I thought uhhmmm is this true or not

Yeah thanks alot i was lookin a the stage 3 clutches and the tech told me not to go that route eaither and jus stick with the basic. I found all the parts for about 500$ from a friend that works at a shop and then labor is what kills you on money labor is like $700. but gotta get it done.

BDawg A4, It is funny because i have a silver 2001 1.8tq, and my tailights are all black, you cant see any red/white. And i de-badged everything except for the T. I tried something different
