whatsup people. so i got this 98.5 a4 2.8Q,5-speed, with 114k miles. Every once in a while when i push the clutch in all the way to the floor, I hear the most terrible hissing/grinding noise coming from under the hood while the lights and radio display get dim. If i dont push the clutch all the way down, there is no noise and everything seems fine including shifts. It happens once or twice every few weeks, and if i turn off the car and restart it, it goes away. The clutch has no problems with slipping and it grabs just fine. Could this be an electrical problem of some sort?? Anybody know whats going on?
