Hey ive been reading about doing replacing my clutch and ive read at some websites that you dont have to resurface the dual mass flywheel is that correct? I have a 1998 Audi A4 1.8T 5speed FWD Car has 119xxx miles on it

Its not that you dont have to but you cant. You can scuff the surface to help with clutch break in and reduce clutch grabbing but do to the design its not really possible to machine it as it will constantly bounce on the resurfacing machine.
