Yeah, true that... but his 'normal' driving conditions arent the same for most of us. I mean, I drive home 401 everyday, then have about a 5 minute drive home, at 40 - 60 km/h... or if I go west, towards oshawa/whitby, I still have to go north for a couple minutes off the 401. I dunno, I just never have to let it cool down. Most of my hard driving is on the 401 anyways
My kind of normal driving is normal driving. I dont redline everygear to get home. And wtf does weightreduction have to do with it? Im telling you that after normal driving my turbo is glowing, i can see it in the dark. Maybe if you were making 25psi, yours would to. Ive doen 30psi on this turbo. I know what it does and how it operates. If you dont belive me, thats fine, i could care less. Like i said, its preference, do whatever you want.But dont tell me what my car does and what it doesnt.

Haha, well big turbo's dont apply to most people, either... But yes, if you're running 25 psi, and under load the whole way home, sure, it'll glow. But as 95% of the people here are stock/chipped... the issue is not nearly as relevant. I can drive the **** out of my car, and I doubt the little bugger would glow.

EDIT: and the weight reduction comment was a nice/funny way of pointing out that your car is geared towards performance... the fact that you've gutted your interior sort of highlights that -- or am I wrong about that, too?

This isn't my picture, but it looks like mine after a short run the other night. I was boosting probably 17 or 18 psi on my stock turbo (Revo high boost 7) and decided to turn it down a bit.
Check it in the dark after a spirited run.
