I had my coolant flushed and sensor changed about 2 months ago and every so often my coolant light comes on and the temp shoots to RED HOT... i know the engine is not overheating but its still an annoyance... any one got any ideas?

 

coolent temp sensor might be out of wack

 

the temp sensor may be getting stuck open allthe way and the coolant just runs through un checked and cant cool off or its stuck close and cant recirculate, im wondering if they aactually chagned your sensor or jsut screwed you over.
