So, christmas and my b-day are comming and my parents are asking me what i want. I would love to get some stuff for my car. I have a '96 A4 Manual and i have been here long enough to know that there isn't much other than cosmetics that i can do to my car. But i have a couple questions:

1) Did Volkswagen put the 12v V6 in any of there cars? like the jetta or passat or sumthing like that?

2) If so, Are there any volkswagen upgrades that can be used on my car?

I imagine that if there were such parts they would have already been brought to the Audi forums but i'm not sure. Any help or insight would be great. Thanks.

if you want to keep your car, just go coilovers/wheels/tint/system. best u can do

If your parents are iffy about giving you performance upgrades, just get a decent sound system, or even just a sub.

I think i might go with the Vibrant Exhaust. they are the only company that makes a bolt on for my car. and at $250 its not too bad. I want a better sound and some shiny tips. I would like a remus or borla but they dont make it... anyways.. any other suggestions would be great. I would love a better sound system seeing as how mine doesnt even work but i'd rather go performance i think... and i'm pretty sure my windows will be tinted by christmas... i hope. at that time i think i'm gonna smoke my taillights (my car is red with black so i think blackish taillights will be a nice comtrast.). then maybe headlights, coilovers, and rims... thanks for the suggestions guys.

New Question:

I found that LLTEK and Vibrant both sell a muffler for my car. Do I go for the:

1) Vibrant @ $250

or

2) LLTEK @ $433

I've heard some kinda bad things about LLTEK and the fact that it costs about $180 more. These kinda sway me toward the Vibrant. Lemme know if i'm making a bad choice. I know you get what you pay for but $180 is a lot extra.

VW didn't use the same v6 as Audi but my '97 Jetta has the 12v VR6. It really is an impressive engine. I think they went 24v around 2000.

yeah it was umm 01 i think cause they got a big power boost...i use to have a 99 jetta 12v vr6...loved that car*
