Is it possible to have the keyless entry reciever die, but not the whole locking pump?..

long story short: Locks woulnt work, fuse popped, replaced, locks work.. but keyless doesnt. I have tried every key syncing/programming option to man, and I am just thinking that somehow the reciever got damaged and now will not work... anyone have any thoughts on this..?
