Default Problem with keyless remote receiver.

Finally reaching that 100k point and everything seems to be going wrong with the car.. earlier this year the torque converter was giving out, and then after i got that fixed, the heater core started leaking coolant like a mother...then after that, i find that the o2 sensors are starting to give out now and gives me the ugly CEL of death every other week. then i find the clear coat on my trunk lid bubbling and peeling because the people that painted it after an accident used some defective clear coating (theyre repainting it for free btw).

Now.... i find that the keyless remote buttons dont even work on my keys. At first i thought the batteries were dead, but i have a spare that i never used, and when i tried it, it too didnt work. So i figured that the receiver thingy, wherever it is, is probably pooping out on me now too. .. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it??

There's a way to reset the connection. I think you hold down the lock button for 3 secs while turning on the ignition or something like that. The dealer taught me the trick so try giving one a call.

Thanks for reminding me about resetting the keys. I remember i had to do that when my central lock system failed on me last year haha. Well anyways, now just one of the keys work, the other one prolly has dead batteries.
