Damn HID blubs
well im pissed
i got the guts to order the damn 5000k blubs for my HID
let me remind you of that im using the 3rd gen ballasts
I bought the 5000k of McCulloch blubs off ebay
i placed my order on sunday and just got them in today
3-days which was super-great (no complaints)
so i pull them ouf of the box and im like, the connector looks kind of funny
here's what it looks like:
i go get the ballast sitting upstairs and im trying to fit it, and it doens't fit
so what the hell?
did i just waste $105 or what? it was for a stock application so i don't get it
ordering and getting them was great, not being able to put them in = pisses me off!

RE: Damn HID blubs
You bought non Oem bulbs... hence those bulbs are made for an aftermarket retrofit kit. Look on ebay for Phillips bulbs, they make a great HID bulb. Those connectors are meant to go into a McCullok ballast for a retrofited car.
