Default damn turbo outlet hose!!

So I keep blowing off the damn turbo outlet hose.. its freaking frustrating as all hell.. I cant get a t clamp for it, because the clamp that it comes with is kind of molded into the hose, and to top it off, the GTRS sits more forward, and slightly lower causing it to kink slightly, i think thats why its building up so much pressure and popping off.. it did it at 22.5 PSI.. i guess i will have to fabricate some type of metal pipe with some rubber sleeves to connect to the turbo and to the intercooler piping.. anyone else have a problem similiar to this??

I had the same problem... When I first got my car it had stock k03 turbo with FMIC and it held all day long @ 10-12psi but I got it chipped and when I would hit 20 psi or let off quickly the hose came off. This happened several times and it sucks. What i did was got some 2in pipe and radiator hose then i used T Clamps that S%#$ held all day long. I have been abusing this setup for 5 months and nothing looks like it has moved.

I had this problem too, make sure when you put it on that there is no oil between the outlet of the turbo and the hose. And if you go to napa and get some semi radiator hose, there is no way you are going to blow that stuff off. that is what I have for all of my couplers.

can you weld? If so, that makes it easy. ...
Oh, you still have the rubber piping....sry I see, well, on your 05, is the intercooler piping part of the front bumper like on the b5's?

front or side mount? So are you running the stock hotpipe? or an aftermarket one? And if you know how to weld, it will be easy.
