I have a 2001 2.8QM...I am looking into some 15 spoke 18 inch silver wheels. I want to know if anyone has definitive answers on whether 18" wheels on a a b5 needs to be lowered or not? Pictures of Both would be helpful because my opinion is most important to me. Let me emphasize how helpful pictures are: pictures are very helpful. Thank you for your replies...

Does not NEED to be, but it looks 100x better.

 

No car needs lowering to put some wheels on. But I agree with miked, it will definately enhance the look if you lowered it.

 

It doesn't need to be lowered but if you put 18s on stock suspension it'll look like an SUV. So yea it does need to be lowered.

 

I just put 18's on my car
and its getting lowered in like 2 days
im hoping that it does look 100% better
if it doesnt miked im gonna hunt you down
